Easby Crag

Details of this crag was previously recorded in North of England Rock Climbs by Stewart Wilson. Volunteers are needed to check and update the information on the following pages for a definitive PDF guide to Swaledale.

This is located on the banks of the River Swale, downstream of the new bridge on the path to Easby Abbey. There are several climbs but little has been recorded except:

First Find (VD) which ascends the biggest buttress from water-level, moving right, then back left at the top.

Squeezeasy   a right to left Girdle starting at a chimney and finishing just right of the easy, Central Gully.
