Karin is based in Sunderland and spends much of her time bouldering in Northumberland and lead climbing in Yorkshire and the Lake District. Her favourite climbing area is Yorkshire limestone where Karin has achieved her hardest climbs including The first ascent of Stolen (F8a+/8b) red point ascents of Huecool (F8b) in Gordale and The Groove (F8a+) at Malham, and a flashed ascent of Death Wish (E7 6b) at Blue Scar, becoming the 3rd British woman to climb that grade.
Karin has also climbed (onsight or flashed) over 10 E6's and more than 70 E5's throughout Britain, a selection of which are detailed below.
On the bolts, Karin has on-sighted F7b+ in Britain and F7c abroad.
