The sandstone buttresses command superb views.

Access and Approaches

The rocks are best approached from the top of Carlton Bank.  Park near the unique Lord Stones cafe where there is both refreshment and car parking.

This is the lower of two bands of rock (known locally as Pin Point) lying below point 408 on Carlton Moor.

Busby Crack   10m   D

Start 3m from the left of the crag. Climb the wide crack split by a flake at the top of the buttress.
