Malham Cove

Peregrine on the move.
The seasonal
restriction on climbing for nesting birds, has been lifted from Malham.
The ever popular Caveat Wall is now open to climbers, arrive early to avoid the
queues.
By the way this does not alter the fact
that power drills are taboo until the birds have gone, please remember this next
year..
New Routes
Toadally Cool F8b
Start left of Serious
Young Toads at an flake crack which is climbed to a poor shake out at its top. A
series of vicious, crimps lead to obvious blocky underclings. These can be
followed more easily to the belay of Serious Young Toads.

Rain Shadow
F9a
The climb involves
doing Raindogs (without grabbing the belay chain of course), 8a+ in itself, then
a Font 7c+ boulder problem, follwed by another 8a+/8b on top. It finishes at a
no-hands rest, avoiding what would be a loose 7a+ finish to the half height
ledge.
