RATHO CLIMBING ARENA

The Rock Climbing Centre incorporates the largest climbing arena in the world,
offering 2400m2 of artificial wall surfaces including over 400m2 of bouldering
and training. This incredible facility will include the only covered climbs on
natural rock anywhere in the world, and is expected to draw climbers and
competitors to its events and climbs from Europe and beyond.
The walls will provide teaching and training areas for rock climbing in all its
forms (including World Cup competition), and will cater for climbers of all
abilities - from beginners through to elite competitors.
The bright and spacious design of the hall results in a cliff-like ambience. The
company awarded the contract to build the walls, achieved the best mix of high
tech expertise, climbability, and aesthetics.
