Opening hours

10am -10pm Monday - Friday

10am - 8pm weekends

 

£4.75 for a standard pay on the door visit, no registration fee. Various membership options available.

There are five bouldering sections;
One section in curved resin with minimal features 4.5m high 12m long overhanging continuously from 1.5m to 3m, this is probably the most overhanging wall of its type in the UK. There is also a cave in curved resin with big features and big holds. Another curved resin wall more featured and less overhanging 9m long 4.5m high and 1.5m overhang. Two 4.5m high vertical ply walls make up the bouldering area. These are 12m and 14m long. All walls will be set with Font style circuits with colour coded holds.

 

A children's wall is included 5m long 2.5m high.
 

There is also 23 ropes giving approx 50 routes.

Competition Results:

The results of the final of Climb Rochdale’s February Bouldering Competition held on Saturday 13th May 2004 were:

 

1st Ben Meeks

2nd Joe Duckworth

3rd Duane Moran

4th Zoe Ogden  (1st Woman)

5th Stephan Sharland

 

The competition was again a great success. As described by John Arran in ‘Climber’ the formulae of having a whole month to tick the 30 qualifying problems has again provided the regulars plenty of time to complete and enjoy the problems. The 30 Easter competition problems are now up and ready and the next Finals Day will be Sunday 9th May finals starting at 4.00pm. Climb Rochdale will be having a Petzl and Beal Day on the 9th of May to coincide with the finals day and there will be some special offers in the Climb shop of these products.
