Looking across the valley towards Chironico
You can get cheap flights into Milan Bergamo then drive across into Switzerland. Cresciano lies in the to the north of the town of Bellinzona. The excellent Cresciano Bouldering Guide. is available from the bars and local tourist information office in Biasca and a similar guide to Chironico is due out in 2006. I would also recommend Blocheart by Harald Röker (ISBN: 3930650096) which is a guide that covers Cresciano, Chironico, Magic Wood and many other areas in Switzerland. Accommodation near Cresciano. Friction Climbing Magazine Issue 3 issue includes a tour of Cresciano by Gareth Parry. Visit http://www.frictionclimbingmagazine.com/ and click BUY.
